New Skill - Hidden Shadow
Based off of the removed skill: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Disappear
Hidden Shadow:
Assassin skill - Shadow Arts:
Cost 10 energy
1/4 second cast
30 second recharge
Description: While you maintain this enchantment you become invisible. Lose all energy and suffer from -3 (or 4 maybe) energy degeneration. If a foe comes within ??' of your location (see skill - Scorpion Wire on distance mechanics), Stealth ends. If you move Stealth Ends.
It may seem powerful as you cannot be targeted and cannot be seen by foes, but you also lose all energy and cannot recover it (unless...you know) basically this merely allows you to "hide" for a little while.
This would not effect PvP too much, but i can see it being a problem to some impatient people. That is why the range detection was added, so if you walk/run near them, their cover is blown.
The skill itself has no inherent use outside of AB and GVG (maybe PvE) but there are skills even more useless so i may as well throw it out here :/

If you maintain an enchantment, that's -1 pip already. If you lose all energy and have -3/4 pips your enchantment is gone the instant it's cast. Can't expect a bipper to feed you all this time.
Oh wait, if you had -3 degen plus -1 maintain then you'd just be at 0e.

umm you already forget sins and casters all have inherent +4 regen? so basically your going to be left with 0 energy and no recharge...so it will actually hold.

Yeah, I see that. If you have -3 degen in skill you'd be okay until you had energy degen. Guess if you brought this into last man standing game type you'd either win or wait for the others to leave eh?

well if a foe walked within range of you in that situation, the skill would end and you would be !$@#d, so as long as the enemy doesn't just stand around waiting, and went looking for you....then ya

Most 4-8 man arenas are not that large, and you still wouldn't last long when people went looking for you. You can't move with the skill on so you can't evade enemy movements.

Keep up the good work with bad ideas. They give me a good laugh. This skill has no use anywhere. Who cares if you're able to hide in a place until someone gets to you. You'll have to energy to do anything to them anyways.

The concept of it is bad, everything about this skill is bad.
Though i did like the idea of trying to make sins able to sneak in and actually more stealthy

Why?
Its not an elite skill, energy management > Lose all energy.
Range> Half-range detection.
Its so easy to see rangers/paragons and Casters all using this.
And no one could stop them.
A Sin/Caster(or Ranger) can do whatever he wants too.
I'd Just love....
a full team running this >.>
Caster/Assassins
The mesmer has energy management.
And the guild lord dies not knowing wtf happened
To add to this, you did not specify the actual range.
And scorpion wire has TWO ranges
Half range and 100 m range.
A ranger with a long bow> 100m range.
